What accounting reports can I generate?

All of the main accounting reports including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Trail Balances can be generated by autocore.io. These reports can be generated for the entirity of the Orgnaization or for each Franchise of the organization.

Can autocore.io be used as a one stop accounting module for my auto repair shops?

Yes, autocore.io contains every accounting function that will allow you to maintain ledgers, automate accounting entries, and generate financial reports for your auto repair shops. You will Not Need any additional softwares such as Quickbooks, or Xero after this.

Yes, you can pass all accounting entries using the autocore.io app on either your IOS or Android phone or tablet. You can also download reports to check the financial situation of your auto repair shop on the go.

How do I check ongoing orders on my workshop?

You can check your Ongoing Orders on the mobile app and the web portal. On the mobile app all you have to do is sign in and the home screen will provide you with all the ongoing orders and a count of different orders ongoing at your auto repair shop. The count includes orders that have pending accounting entries and quotations waiting on customers approval. Similarly, for Web App, the Dashboard screen shows the count of all ongoing orders. By clicking on this you can even view the list of all ongoing orders.

What is a Service Reminder?

Service Reminders is a feature of autocore.io which reminds you to contact the customer when their next service is due. This next service could be oil change or periodic maintenance & tuning or car wash or any other service you wish to create a reminder for. This feature allows you to increase revenue by making sure your customers return to your workshop on time and showing that you care about their vehicle.

As a workshop owner can I operate my entire workshop using the mobile app?

As a workshop owner you can operate your entire workshop using our mobile app. You can place an order, create new job cards, inspect vehicles, send quotations & invoices, and make accounting entries for your orders.

Why would I need to register a Franchise?

If you have multiple branches or franchises then you can easily register them on our platform and manage them through autocore.io’s franchising module.

Services & Sub-Services

What are Service and Subservices?

Services are the main category by which all services are divided for example Engine Work, Body Work, Electrical Work would be examples of services, where as the Sub-Services are the main task the technician or the mechanic shall be performing on the vehicle. this could include task like Battery Replacement.

What is a Dependent Service?

A Dependent Service is a Sub-Service in which you can not be perform the task without having performed another service. An example of it would be Suspension Rebuild, which can not be Performed without Suspension Dismantle & Installation

How do I edit the Services?

To edit the name of a Service follow the below mentioned steps:-

• Go to the Services tab
• Click on the Sub-Services tab
• On the main screen you will see the list of Services on the left side of the screen.
• Click on the “Edit” button.
• Rename the Service and press “Update”.

How do I edit the Sub-Services?

To edit a Sub-Service follow the below mentioned steps:-

• Go to the Services tab
• Click on the Sub-Services tab
• On the main screen you will see the list of Sub-Services on the right side of the screen.
• Click on the “Edit” button next to the item you want to edit.
• Make your edits and press “Update”.

How do I add Warranty Time to a Service?

To edit a Sub-Service follow the below mentioned steps:-

• Go to the Services tab
• Click on the Sub-Services tab
• On the main screen you will see the list of Sub-Services on the right side of the screen.
• Click on the “Edit” button next to the item you want to edit.
• Add the Warranty Period in “Days Warranty”. (Must be in number of days)
• Press “Update”.

Dashboard

How can I view different statistics on my dashboard?

Once you have signed up and made the payment, our Customer Success Team will get on a call with you to understand you dashboard needs. Autocore.io offers a one time free customisation for your dashboard as per your requirements. You can choose a graph or a table of your liking or we can suggest you with a layout that works for you.

Members

Can I delete a Member?

To edit a Sub-Service follow the below mentioned steps:-

• Go to the Members tab
• Click on the Member you want to delete.
• You will see a window pop up from the right side of the screen.
• Click on the “Delete” icon on the bottom left side of the window.
• Press “Yes”.

Will each of my technicians or workshop employees have to make their own accounts to use autocore.io?

Yes, each staff member will have to make their own accounts and sign up onto autocore.io. Once they have signed up you can add them to your organisation, using the e-mail they used to sign up.

How do I restrict my employees from accessing important data on autocore.io?

Restrict your employees from accessing sensitive information from your portal by assigning them with the appropriate role in the organisation. Discuss with the Customer Success Team for who you should assign what role as each role has a different set of limitations. 

What type of roles can I assign to a member?

The roles that you can assign to Members of your organisation include:-

• Super Admin
• Admin
• Workshop Operator
• Technician

What is Assigned Services when registering member?

In certain cases you will have employees which can only perform specialised tasks and services. This allows you to only assign them with the task you assigned to them when you register them to your employee. This decreases the risk of accidentally assigning the wrong task or service to them.

Adding your employees whether they be your on ground technicians, inventory managers, accountants or your workshop operators and managers, to reap the full benefit of autocore.io you should register all of them to your Organization in order to digitize your entire auto repair shop operations. Follow the steps in the video below to register your team as Members of your organization.

Incase you have more than one Branch of your auto repair shop, you have the ability to register them as well and use one account to manage multiple Branches. Follow the steps in the video below to see how it is done.
